Ultrafabrics create materials for tomorrow, pioneering socially conscious materials without sacrificing on incomparable comfort and superior performance.
Uniting Japanese craftsmanship, state-of-the-art technology and sustainably-focused innovation, Ultrafabrics make intelligent fabrics designed to do more.
What we did:
Ultrafabrics approached Studio Circulaire to tell their ‘material innovation’ story, commissioning us to provide both images and copy for press, social media, web and print that highlight their work on sustainability and use of new and innovative materials, such as Tencel™, REPREVE® and ECOVERO™.
Working closely with their Director of Branding in the US and Marketing and Brand Manager - Europe in the UK, we undertook a rigorous review of Ultrafabrics’ existing branding, imagery and story, to ensure the project would slot into existing material, while also delivering the bold impact Studio Circulaire is known for.
Both the images and the copy were structured to allow their use - standalone or in groups - in a variety of settings, from social media and web use, to brochures, advertising and company reports.

How we did it:
We wanted to give Ultrafabrics something bold and impactful, but at the same time, something that could be used alongside existing images and copy. We wanted to limit our use of all resources - from the Ultrafabrics materials themselves, to set-build, transportation and props.
Throughout the project, we used Microsoft Teams and WhatsApp group messaging to communicate with Ultrafabrics in the US, and public transport to attend meetings at Ultrafabrics’ European office in London.
Using local partners, we kept our vehicle mileage below 100 miles and ensured the set was recyclable or reusable at the end of the project. Leftover materials were returned to Ultrafabrics or donated, while we shot the project locally to reduce our travel impact and to support the local economy.
